The Making of an Exception
Challenge
A good friend came to me with an idea to start a podcast telling stories of ordinary people living exceptional lives. After dreaming up a name, I had to build a simple but dynamic brand that would catch the eye of people while scrolling Instagram or Facebook, and invite them into their version of exceptional living.
I built a brand identity around bold type and bright color, using elements like sound waves and black & white imagery as a nod to an era of vintage radio, silent films, and propaganda marketing.
